Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support.
Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.
Troubleshoots a wide variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
Performs a wide variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.
Prepares and presents a wide variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.
Provides advice and a wide variety of complex onsite training for customer support personnel.
May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)
1.    The technician will be managing the NEIC tactical operational material from a maintenance and operational viability perspective. 
2.    Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic cryptologic and ancillary systems to also include tactical radios.  
3.    Windows and UNIX based operating systems + BIOS familiarity from a maintenance and operational perspective.
4.    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
5.    Ability to work independent of supervision and be self-motivated to complete tasks and initiate improvements.
6..    Must be able to obtain Security+ at a minimum and certified on one, or more of the following Operating Systems: Windows, Linux and/or Sun-Solaris.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
