GDIT is currently looking for an experienced, TS/SCI cleared Operations Analyst (Exercises) to join our mission critical team located in Washington, DC. The best-suited candidate will be an analytical, detail-oriented thinker, and proactive team player, with knowledge and experience conducting analysis of various continuity programs, as well as coordinating with project managers and / or task leads to develop policies, produce continuity of government (COG) operations plans, and develop training/exercise events.

  

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve and support an executive-level Department of Defense client

  • Analyze and/or support revision of existing operations and management controls including standard practices, operating procedures, management systems, and reporting documentation

  • Support review and collaboration of policies, methods, procedures, instructions, and forms to achieve greater operations efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Assemble, prepare, and analyze data; present data in briefings and other information formats

  • Produce and/or review substantive and/or complex documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of functional areas as identified in the Statement of Work

  • Support the development of emergency action and operations plans

  • Provide input or prepare technical reports / briefings based on the expert interpretation of analyzed data

  • Apply the full range of analytical methods and techniques to identify and analyze issues and resolve complex problems

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements

  • Brief and communicate analytical results and recommendations to executives, managers, and Subject Matter Experts, both government, military, and contractor personnel

  • Coordinate meetings across multiple organizations and staff directorates, compile results thereof and document processes endorsed by the client and the user community

  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, and abstracting up from low-level information to a general understanding

  • Adapt rapidly to shifts in priorities and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, to include staff support relating to current operations

  • Perform duties as required per operational requirements or client requests, and as identified in the Statement of Work

In order to be considered for the Operations Analyst (Exercises) opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:

  •  Must have knowledge and experience producing, handling, storing, transmitting, and transporting classified materials, up to and including Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

  • Active TS/SCI

  • Must have experience working with senior government and military personnel, and have exceptional written and communication skills

  • BS/BA degree and two or more years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
