We’re looking for a Senior Advisor, Business Process Analysis to join the Business Innovation Services (BIS) team within GDIT’s Global CIO Services organization to help us transform the way we do business as a company. You will work directly with functional leaders across the enterprise to identify candidate capabilities and processes for optimization through digital transformation, and will help us develop a path to do so. Leveraging a challenger mindset and a results orientation, you will help our customers envision the art of the possible to achieve their business goals.
A day in the life
Partner with our internal customers to transform the way we do business by identifying candidate business processes for digital transformation, with a hyper focus around automation
Drive a shift towards a Value Stream approach to doing business
Bring innovation and creativity to the problems we solve
Build relationships across the enterprise that improve your ability to drive change and, potentially, support your personal professional growth
Help us develop our internal team capabilities to continue to improve the way we do our own work
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in business process improvement, process re-engineering, continuous process improvement, business transformation, and process optimization
Practical experience in process standardization, value stream analysis (VSA)/process mapping, Kanban, etc
Experience with workshop planning and facilitation (Kaizen events, etc.)
Staying abreast of technology market trends
Experience identifying and providing solutions to business problems
Experience managing projects and deliverables
Lean/Six Sigma certifications (preferred)
Experience mentoring and leading other team members (preferred)
A desire and ability to think beyond the status quo and imagine the art of the possible
Challenger mindset and the ability to lead by influence and challenge the status quo
A strong business acumen, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and results-oriented
Analytical thinking skills / the ability to frame and measure tradeoffs
