Field Services Team Manager

Doral, FL


Person chosen for this role will be responsible for managing one or more small to medium sized teams consisting of a few disciplines.

The SOUTHCOM Security Cooperation Offices in South & Central America and the Caribbean are provided touch maintenance; this Manager position works out of HQ in Doral Florida managing the deployment teams and coordinating all pre deployment activities to ensure all identified IT service requests are fulfilled.

While teams are in garrison at HQ ensure the FST Teams are supporting the Enterprise IT services.

Manager will brief all Senior Leadership on all FST deployment activities and coordinate with several work centers at the HQ to ensure mission accomplishment.


  • May manage the development of policies and procedures and ensures their conformance with the departments goals and company/customer objectives.

  • Manages the development and administration of schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.

  • Manages and prioritizes information systems needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility.

  • Keeps well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation

  • May oversee ordering process to meet objectives effectively and economically.

  • Manages vendor relationships and billing reconciliations.

  • Provides guidance and solutions to ensure the information systems needs align with the strategic departmental initiatives.


  • Secret to start, eventually must be able to obtain TS/SCI.


  • BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree)

  • 5+ years of experience

All positions are 24x7, meaning, as mission dictates, we surge in people to restore services, support natural disasters, and exercises.

Please note role may require after hours outage support, working major incidents, that may occur or spill over to weekend/holiday work until services restored.
