GDIT is seeking an ambitious and energeticExecutive Assistant to help support our DoD CIO Enterprise Portfolio Support Services (EPSS) contract at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This position requires the employee to report full-time onsite supporting a work schedule of 7:30am – 4:00pm.
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative support the Deputy CIO for the Information Enterprise (DCIO (IE)).
HOW AN EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: You will provide comprehensive support services for daily operations and administration functions including:
Action suspense tracking
Communication, correspondence, and distribution services
Procurement of administrative supplies
Administration of forms, graphics, printing, and word processing
Travel and transportation support (Defense Travel System)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
Citizenship: US Citizen
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline OR the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience.
Year's Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience with providing administrative and executive assistance to senior leadership.
Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint
Skills & Abilities: Administrative, organizational, and time management skills; Email, calendar, and travel management; excellent interpersonal skills including experience supporting and interacting with Department of Defense senior leadership; attention to detail.
Location: Report onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA and able to support a 7:30am – 4:00pm work schedule.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED - DESIRED:
Technical Skills: Generating and submitting travel orders and voucher via the Defense Travel System (DTS), tracking actions and taskers in the DoD Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) and/or Task Management Tool (TMT), Secure Video Teleconference (SVTC) coordination, DoD records management, coordination of new employee onboarding, and familiarity with NLCC programs and initiatives.
