Hybrid - Software Developer:

Our work depends on a Developer joining our team to support the Intelligence Community activities in Herndon, VA.
At GDIT, we get work done. As a Developer supporting the Intelligence Community, you will be trusted to work on an Agile team and develop code to build a mission critical data lake using serverless architecture. In this role, a typical day will include:
Works in an agile environment participating in Scrums Work with Tech Lead to understand requirements. Work with Scrum Master to identify user stories and keep user stories updated Develop and check-in code Test code.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
0 to 5 Years of relevant experience
Experience in Java, Node.js, Lambda development
Experience with Python
Experience with Linux
Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodologies and iterative development
Experience with DevOps/CI tools such as Git Hub, Jenkins and Teraform
Experience working on an Enterprise software development team.
Experience with the following AWS Service offerings: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SNS, Kinesis Streams, Dynamo DB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Elastic, Search, EMR
