We are seeking a Sr DevOps / Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team to support our client Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Division of Dept Of Health and Human Services at Windsor Mill, MD. As an Oracle DevOps DBA supporting CMS Financials, Budgeting and Reporting systems as part of CMS HOM project.
Requires ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years.
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Support Mission critical production environment along with Validation, Test and Development environments of Oracle EBS and other applications and databases.
Create Ansible playbooks and/or manifests in Puppet to support automation.
Develop Python, Perl and/or Shell scripts to automate the day-to-day DBA tasks.
Support Mission critical production environment along with Validation, Test and Development environments including On-call role (24/7).
Supporting Triaging issues and Providing root cause analysis.
Provide solution to improve system Performance tuning/optimization.
Capacity planning & Forecasting.
Proactive monitoring and address potential issues.
Oracle DB & eBusiness Suite (EBS) cloning, Patching, Upgrade.
Backup & Restore of Database and Applications.
Maintain and Support to Keep DR system in sync with production.
Support Change migration to various environments.
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
BS/BA in Information Technology or related technical discipline.
10+ years’ experience within Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) applications environment (installation, configuration, upgrade, patching).
Strong experience in automation tools like Ansible, Puppet etc.,.
Strong coding skills in Python or Shell or Perl scripting.
Knowledge in Continuous Integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Experience in using GIT.
Preferably R12.2.x environment and Database 19c.
Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager configuration and support.
Experience in OBIEE, SOA, Oracle IDM/SSO installations, configuration, patching and production support.
Knowledge of Exadata engineered systems.
Knowledge on Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN.

The likely salary range for this position is $128,000 - $192,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
