At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Sr Evaluation Specialist supporting Covid-19 Pandemic Response activities, a typical day will include:

  • Providing Data Visualization expertise for the analysis and presentation of data using current tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Fusion Charts, etc.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards (e.g., using PowerBI) to automate reporting processes, track data, and show trends within mixed-methods social science data.
  • Using data visualization and dashboard/reporting tools to communicate quantitative and qualitative data to provide more meaningful information for use in determining program effectiveness.
  • Collecting survey data from Pandemic responders related to their experiences in the field or in the Emergency Operations Center.
  • Coordinating qualitative and quantitative data collection at the responder level.
  • Supporting and/or leading the collection, synthesis, and reporting of data for use by COVID-19 response leadership.
  • Evaluating the responder experience and response processes through synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data collected on an ongoing basis through surveys and debrief sessions. 
  • Producing presentations and reports to brief leadership and stakeholders.
  • WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
    • Bachelors or Masters in public health or data analysis field
    • 2 or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
    • PowerBI certification is preferred.
    • Experience with analyzing, interpreting, and/or communicating qualitative and/or quantitative data in report and dashboard formats.
    • Experience gathering client/partner requirements and translating needs into innovative and user-friendly solutions (e.g., automating reports into dashboards).
    • Comfortable balancing multiple tasks and data visualization needs in a dynamic response environment.
    • Programming experience, such as in R, SAS, Python or other statistical tools.
    • The selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Public Trust. An existing Public Trust is preferred
