GDIT is looking for a Core Enterprise Services Manager to lead a large program to include Systems and Network Administration Support, Cloud Engineering, Engineering, Testing, and Lab As-a-Service. The Services Manager will be engaged daily with the federal customer and other senior officials. S/He will be savvy to Federal mandates for Government IT modernization and lead a program that provides the workforce to serve the customer’s current state as well as enable digital transformation and innovation for the customer organization.
The Services Manager will cultivate a strong and collaborative internal leadership team, mentoring and empowering them in their area of technical and personnel oversight as well as promoting their achievements to the customer and within GDIT.
Above all the Services Manager must be professional, patient, courteous, helpful and organized. S/He will be responsible to ensure that the program’s internal leadership team, and all staff on the program, are mentored in professional conduct as well.
Required qualifications and knowledge areas include:
Active DoD clearance, minimum level Interim Secret;
Undergraduate degree in a technical or business field;
Minimum 10 years of experience in a leadership role working and interfacing daily with senior Government managers;
Minimum 5 years leading large IT services delivery programs for the Federal Government;
Minimum 3 years of experience leading a program using Lean/Agile/DevOps in a delivery capacity and ability to point to various lessons learned, successes, failures, and artifacts;
Working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and able to articulate this framework in an infrastructure and shared services environment;
Experience with Organizational Change Management;
Personnel leadership of >100 FTEs in multiple locations with performance and hiring experience;
Certifications Desired or able to achieve within six months:
SAFe SA or SGP and SDP
