HOW A PAYROLL MODERNIZATION SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Serve as the lead architect for a payroll modernization effort on a very large scale (250,000+ employees) highly complex project
Assess the current payroll solution and document gaps
Assess integration points and dependencies
Define payroll modernization requirements for the next generation solution
Document best practices for implementation
Review existing processes and develop recommendations for enhancements
Serve as a liaison to the customer to guide the customer through the modernization effort
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Certification
10 years of relevant experience in payroll
Experience leading a large scale (250,000 employees or more) payroll modernization, involving complex payroll rules (e.g., multiple unions, multiple rate structures, etc.)
Security Clearance Level:
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance
The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days. US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
Required Skills and Abilities:
10 years of Consulting Experience
Experience working on with a SAFe or other Agile framework
Ability to meet strict deadlines, multi-task, and extreme attention to detail is essential
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills, work ethics, and team player
High degree of professionalism
Ability to interface well with a variety of employees at all levels
Experience in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen
Oracle eBusiness suite
Experience with Payroll Modernization in the public sector
Mastery of Internal Controls
Knowledgeable about federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
