The US Marine Corps Technology Services Organization (USMC TSO) program is seeking a Sr. Java Developer to join their team in Kansas City, MO, or Indianapolis, IN.
 

As a Senior Developer on staff, you will develop web-based applications primarily using Java. The development methodology is based upon Agile/Scrum and/or Kanban. You must be knowledgeable of user stories, creation and management of sprint backlog. Ability to interpret/comply wTSOith established architecture and framework is expected including creation of object oriented executables using MVC and design patterns.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree and/or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience developing software using JAVA, JAVA Servlet, J2EE compliant HTML, CSS

  • Experience with Web Services, Struts/Spring, PrimeFaces, JSF

  • Knowledge of USMC systems and culture.

  • Technical/Professional Certification from industry-recognized organization (Oracle, PMI, IQTSB, CompTIA, Puppet Labs, Red Hat, etc).

  • Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:          

  • Development of/migration to Cloud-based applications

  • DEVOPS or DEVSECOPS

  • Automated Application Build-Deploy processes (via tools such as Docker)

  • Self-provisioning of environments (via tools such as Puppet)
