As a Cloud Software Developer for GDIT you will create exciting customer facing web applications by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces hosted in the Cloud. This team is based out of the West Des Moines office and from home offices across the country. 100% remote telework will be considered for those outside of the Iowa area.
Design, code, test, debug, document, and implement changes to new and existing solutions
Perform unit testing of code to assure the delivery of a product that meets the user's specifications
Provides technical advice to technical leads, assisting them with high level planning and cost justifications
Leads project efforts, ensuring project requirements and timelines are met
Required Skills and Experience:
1+ years of Java or Amazon Corretto web development experience
Experience in Python and SQL programming
Experience working as a member of a Scrum development team
BS and 2+ years or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience developing with OpenJDK, Eclipse, LifeRay, ELGG, PHP and/or jQuery
