GDIT’s Strategy and Performance Group based in Arlington, VA, includes over 80 individuals with backgrounds spanning all phases of the human capital lifecycle. GDIT’s consultants work with Federal clients to develop, implement, evaluate, and improve human capital processes and programs. Our projects focus on employee engagement, workforce planning, training design and evaluation, performance management, HR measurement and metrics, and diversity and inclusion strategy. They frequently involve:
Large-scale job analysis and competency modeling,
Training development, delivery, and evaluation,
Professional certification and credentialing,
Data analytics, and
Assessment design, development, validation, and evaluation.
The Strategy and Performance Group is currently seeking a workforce planning consultant who has experience supporting the workforce planning cycle for a federal agency. The consultant should be comfortable with forecasting needs, developing and analyzing gaps, developing and implementing closure strategies, and monitoring progress. This consultant’s primary responsibilities will be to:
Support data collection and analysis, to determine the attributes of an Agency’s current workforce, identify future workforce needs, and formulate gap closure strategies,
Design, develop, and evaluate training strategies and programs. Provide day-to-day direction to team members on assigned tasks,
Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholder groups including preparing briefings and PowerPoint decks, memos, and emails. Maintain files on SharePoint and ensure version control and archiving of all final work products,
Participate with client in meetings and briefings with key stakeholders,
Manage timelines, schedules, client status reporting, and preparing monthly reports, and
Lead the development of the final workforce planning report.
This position is currently 100% telework.
Qualified applicants should meet the following criteria:
An advanced degree in I/O Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or related field,
Certification in workforce planning (e.g., Strategic Workforce Planner (SWP)) is a plus,
Certification in, and/or three-five years demonstrated experience using the Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation is desired
At least four years of experience supporting the workforce planning cycle for a federal agency either as an employee or a contractor,
Experience conducting statistical analyses and human performance measurement,
Experience determining training reliability and validity
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills,
Experience creating written documentation for different stakeholders (e.g., leadership, offices)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate and build rapport with colleagues and clients,
Ability to travel to customer sites, as required.
This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by January 18, 2022 or the start date, if after January 18. Individuals who work in or reside in Texas or Montana or work outside of the United States may be excluded from this requirement.
The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
