HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (SYSTEMS SOFTWARE) SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

● Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software

● Works closely with business stakeholders to understand their business processes, gain agreement on these processes, and recommend solutions to implement these processes.

● Member of an Agile team responsible for the development and maintenance of the processes within ServiceNow

● Provides guidance to the development team to ensure best practices and consistent delivery of applications.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
● Required Experience: 6+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: ServiceNow
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
● Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Active member of an Agile development team creating business process solutions within the ServiceNow framework while maintaining use of best practices.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of both new applications and application customization.
  • Customization of the Application UI and workflow.
  • Delivering new services via the service portal.
  • Investigating application issues and collaborating with team members to resolve them quickly.
  • Ongoing management of the ServiceNow environment, including platform version upgrades and application releases without business impact.

● Preferred Skills:

  • Development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Experience interviewing stakeholders to gather system requirements, estimate the level of effort, develop conceptual designs, and implement ServiceNow solutions.
  • Supporting the requirements definition and application testing processes.
  • Supporting requirements for system certifications, including security.
  • Development of reports according to ongoing customer needs.
