General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is the Prime contractor for the Flight School XXI (FSXXI) program which supports the United States Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Located in Daleville, Alabama, GDIT owns and operates the facilities that provides flight simulator training.
We have an immediate opening for a Part-Time Customer Support position in Daleville, Alabama. This position will require working non-traditional hours and some weekends to support customer requirements. The successful candidate will be focused on customer service, have experience in helicopter flight training (Helicopter Pilot Professional rating or Air Traffic Control Specialist rating), familiar with instrument flight and ATC procedures, understand USAACE scheduling requirements, operate a simulator bay Remote Instructor/Operator Station and fluent in the use of desktop and web-based applications.
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Six or more years of helicopter instrument flight or air traffic control experience
-Experience working in the customer service industry
-Experience working with business operating systems and web-based applications
-US Army instrument flight training experience in the UH72 and TH67 aircraft
-Qualified in flight simulation Remote Instructor/Operator Station
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work independently
-Understand and apply policies and regulations
-Good leadership and organizational skills
