Job Description

We are seeking a Lead for Data Analytics and Automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in advanced data analytics tools and techniques, as well as experience using IT and Security automation tools. This Senior-level Engineer will be responsible for translating operational requirements into data analysis and automation support tasks and act as an advisor in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data analytics products (Dashboards, playbooks, analysis products, etc...) that enable data-driven decision-making across a Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Research and provide recommendations for improvements via whitepapers, briefings and other formal products.
  • Develop and maintain capability portfolios to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document business requirements for analysis/automation solutions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and automation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all data analytics and automation processes and procedures.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical guidance and leadership.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • TS/SCI w/ Poly required
  • Experience using advanced data analytics tools and techniques, such as Splunk, SQL, Python, and statistical modeling.
  • Strong experience with IT and Security automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Swimlane, Splunk Phantom, etc...
  • Strong experience with data integration and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
