Our work depends on a Business Manager joining our team to support the program and the customer activities in Maryland.
At GDIT, our people are at the center of everything we do. As a Business Manager supporting the program and this Maryland Customer, you will be trusted to work on supporting the contract and task orders, tracking of burn rates provided by finance personnel, preparing purchase requests/orders, monitoring and approving timekeeping, and sourcing of staff. In this role, a typical day will include:
Collaborating with the Maryland customer on funding burn rates and period of performance
Monitoring contract and task order changes, associated costs, and future cost projections
Prepare and track purchase requests, primarily for funding of sub-contractor team members
Monitor and approve timekeeping, for the Subcontractors within the SETRIS System, ensuring that personnel are working within the allotted time that the customer has provided on the contract
Prepare monthly reports to be presented to the customer
Coordinating with the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager on all aspects of the contract, primarily with timekeeping, personnel, and contract related modifications received
Working closely with the sub-contracts administrator to ensure proper and accurate funding, charge numbers, rates, and timekeeping is being performed by sub-contractor team members
Your success will be measured through satisfaction of the customer contract officer representatives and the contract manager.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Education Requirements: High School/GED with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or Associates degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience or a Doctorate’s degree with at least 1 year of experience.
-Proficient with Microsoft Excel
-Experience with the Government/DoD contract environment
-Financial and account management skills
-Strong analytical & problem-solving skill
-Understanding/experience with business management practices and principles
-Customer service experience
-Familiarity with the following systems or their equivalents:
Security clearance level required: Must currently have and be able to maintain a Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
