HOW A SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
● Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
● Contributes to completion of engineering programs and projects
● Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
● Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
● Performs continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
● Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures relate to engineering projects
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Strong Windows background with familiarity operating in a Linux environment, experience with SIEM tools, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and delivery, Cloud and/or Hybrid-Cloud experience, enterprise storage experience
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
● Required Skills and Abilities: Works independently under general supervision, possess current DoD IAT II Level certification
● Preferred Skills: Experience with Nutanix, Splunk, AWS/Azure, and/or HPE storage solutions
● Location: On Customer Site
