General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Program Analyst to support the DEE Transition Team.

The position will support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Strategic Deterrent Force. General Dynamics Information Technology will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution which enables and integrates the program’s complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program’s lifecycle. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable Digital Engineering Environment (DEE) delivered to the Government, to be instantiated “virtually” on the Government’s network infrastructure, and updated during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of weapon system development. 

The Transition Management Team will develop a detailed project plan that will incorporate Agile Data Methods and framework to integrate Security (Sec) and agile software development (Dev) within our IT Operations (Ops) practices. The plan will cover the development and controlling of the DEE baseline and the transition support from one environment to another.  The team will be made up of a Cloud Architect, Systems Engineer, Process Analyst, and Technical writer. This team will be dedicated to the DEE transition.

General Dynamics Information Technology’s DEE Transition Team Senior Program Analyst  will work across DEE technical teams to ensure the implemented architecture meets all program requirements, and is able to be easily adopted by enterprise users transitioning from legacy environments.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop business information processing systems. 
  • Coordinating with business and technology teams
  • Ensuring the implementation of PLM and Cloud Migration Framework
     

Required Skills:

  • ITIL Certification, Foundation Level
  • Experience transferring/delivering containerized software products/solutions
  • Experience maintaining and updating Digital Environments
     

Desired Skills:

  • ITIL Certification, Intermediate Level
  • INCOSE Certification
  • Active Secret Clearance
