GDIT is seeking Network Administrator willing to be based in Honduras (Soto Cano AFB). Will be responsible to perform functions such as: Install, configure, and suppor action items on our customer's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system (in support of the USSOUTHCOM)..


  • Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. 
  • May monitor and test web site performance to ensure web sites operate correctly and without interruption. 
  • May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. 
  • May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists. 
  • May administer network security measures.
  • Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments. 
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. 
  • Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contribute to deliverables' and performance metrics where applicable.


  • 2-10+ years hands-on experience designing, configuring, deploying and troubleshooting networks to include utilizing tools/products such as (but not limited to) Cisco, Netscout, Infoblox, Gigamon RSA, Juniper, VMware, Splunk and Websense technologies.
  • DoD 8570.01 IAT-II certification (e.g., Security + CE or equivalent), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Routing/Switching, Security, and/or Data Center certifications.
  • Clearance-Secret.

Education: BA/BS-Information Technology or related field.
