Come join General Dynamics Information Technology team working with Defense Retired and Annuity Pay System 2 (DRAS2) seeking a strong PeopleSoft System Administrator for our DRAS2 program in the Northern Virginia area.
The candidate should be able to:
Maintain computing environment by identifying PeopleSoft system requirements, installing upgrades, applying patches and monitoring system performance.
Maintain PeopleSoft system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor.
Secure PeopleSoft system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation.
Establish and test disaster recovery policies and procedures; completes back-ups; maintains documentation.
Implement, maintain, troubleshoot and fix errors in existing systems and applications
Collaborate with system implementation team as needed to plan services and resolve issues (management, architects, analysts, developers, testers, administrators and cyber security personnel)
Identify, define, document and adhere to program and contract standards, controls, procedures, and documentation
Provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of the PeopleSoft environments
Implement and maintain tools with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods
Ensure system and application documentation is complete and up-to-date
Assist in transition to new operating environments as needed
BS or equivalent + 9 yrs related experience, or MS + 7 yrs related experience
5+ years of PeopleSoft 9.2 experience in large scale Federal implementations
Demonstrated experience with and proficiency in the following: Integration Broker, Application Security, Phire, CAST and PeopleTools, Oracle Weblogic 12, Oracle RDBMS 11.2 - 12.1, and Oracle 11g is required
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
