This is an all-encompassing SharePoint position that includes OS and SharePoint 2013 farm administration, site collection and site administration, including content types and list management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Information and knowledge management
SharePoint 2013/2016 farm architecture, configuration and administration
Windows Server, IIS, SQL and SharePoint Server patching
Deploying and maintaining SharePoint farm solutions
Site collection administration
Content types & metadata management
Document libraries & views management
Customization and branding
Web Applications development & management
Requirements gathering and translation. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have limited supervisory responsibilities.
Analyzes customer needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
10+ years of experience required.
Must possess and maintain a secret clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
In support of the requirement, the employee must have and maintain the CompTIA Security+ CE Certification. The CompTIA Security+ CE Certification is the preferred certification. Also acceptable are alternative certifications.
Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
Knowledge of Web Application Development principles (client and server side), senior level Systems Administration, and systems integration.
Expert level knowledge in the following applications: SharePoint 2013/2016, IIS, Active Directory, Windows OS
Experience with Linux, PowerShell, Cold Fusion and MURA preferred
Depending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required.
