Job Description

GDIT has an opportunity for a Business Area Vice President to lead and grow an exciting portfolio of programs comprised of large technology systems at the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide visionary leadership for a portfolio of Enterprise Technology Solution and/or Service programs; fostering a culture of innovation and best ideas
• Foster and maintain relationships with CMS executives across the Agency
• Partners with clients to oversee programs from inception through completion; ensuring that the cost, schedule and technical performance of GDIT programs or subsystems of major programs exceeds expectations
• Coordinates the preparation of contractual responses, business plans, proposals and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of the GDIT’s resources and CMS’s needs
• Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people; developing the next generation of leaders, tools and technology to meet future needs
• Interacts with C-level executives at CMS and across Federal Health on matters of significance to the Agency and GDIT

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education, work experience, or professional training in lieu required.
• 5+ years of experience in Program / Account Management for multiple simultaneous programs, ideally totaling over $100M+
• 10+ years experience in Federal contracting (a combination of Federal service and/or Contracting experience will apply), to include significant in depth experience supporting CMS programs
• 5+ years experience delivering transformative technology programs using digital service techniques
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs
• Strong leadership experience, directing multiple large project teams of 100 or more FTEs
• Experience with proposals, capture and execution

The likely salary range for this position is $192,000 - $288,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
