At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Systems Integrator supporting the customer, you will be trusted to support multiple project contracts on development, research, or technical action operations. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Tracking action items for successful completion.
  • Responding to actions for the Sponsor team.
  • Communicating progress and risks for several concurrent efforts from a financial perspective.
  • Coordinate and prepare project schedules
  • Prepare various briefings (e.g. quad charts, roadmaps, strategic planning, and other presentations).
  • Prepare and review written communications to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration and information sharing among a variety of stakeholders across Sponsor and other agencies.
  • Manage scheduling and logistics of a cross-organizational Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to include agendas, minutes, and communications.
  • Documentation of technical requirements in the form of a System Requirements Document (SRD)
  • Financial support to request funding in customer financial tool.
  • Maintaining budget requests for multiple efforts as needed
  •  Requesting appropriate report information from vendors when they are not provided in a timely manner or accurately.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or combined experience in Systems Integrations and Project Management.
  • Minimum of 15 years related experience or appropriate combination of relevant experience and education
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • Local/Domestic travel to other sites in the WMA may sometimes be required
  • Required Skills and Experience:
    o Experience applying engineering and technology principles to real work operations.
    o Experience participating in team meetings, communicating tasks being worked and any impediments.
    o Experience pointing out inconsistencies, problems, and points of contention with the processes and offering recommendations for resolution.
    o Experience with action funds/or separate funds for special purposes.
    o Experience working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Working independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously and adjusting to changing priorities.
    o Experience exhibiting communications skills including written, verbal, listening, negotiating, presentation/briefing skills, and working with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects and highlights areas of improvement.
  • Utilizes extremely complex modeling and measuring techniques. Performs functional modeling based on requirements analysis.
  • Directs functional testing of various projects or systems.
  • Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.
  • Develops new functionality or updates the existing, to meet client needs.
  • Writes and updates project documentation including procedures, presentations, and training materials.
  • Performs functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships.
  • Consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.
  • May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
  • May serve as a mentor to experienced analysts.
  • May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)
  • Serves as advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation.
  • Generates recommendations in the form of briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in a specific area.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 15+ years of experience
