May oversee work for employees and provide leadership. May provide mentoring and training to investigators and/or new reviewers on technique, procedures, and use of job-related computer systems. Provide guidance to GDIT staff regarding concerns, policy and procedures, and issues raised during the conduct of an investigation. Tracks and maintains case review log. Assess reports of investigations for completeness and quality standards set by the customer. Assign a timeliness and quality evaluation. Make a final assessment on cases for release to the customer or return to investigator. Approves reports and submits them accordingly. Previous experience as a technical writer, editor or reviewer is preferred Skills with Microsoft word and excel are preferred Must be able to work independently and be reliable as this position is 100% remote Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related and/or military experience and/or at least 1 year in case review related to background investigations Requires at least a Secret Clearance High desirable experience with Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and Expandable Focused Investigation (EFI) models.
