General Dynamics Information Technology is looking for a Systems Engineering Architect Advisor for the Air Carrier Analysis Support System (ACAS) at Scott Air Force Base, in O'Fallon, Illinois.
ACAS is essential to providing an integrated operational analysis capability for safety analysis of accidents and incidents, operations, maintenance, financial analysis, and service quality information for both domestic and foreign commercial air carriers supporting DOD. ACAS provides users the ability to pick from numerous capabilities within the system such as scheduling, CRAF, queries, data collection, and reports. GDIT provides sustainment and enhancement services for ACAS. Remote Option available.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent +8 years’ experience in related field
Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE) or higher
Responsibilities of this position include the following:
Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.
Serves as Technical Lead and Senior Architect for an agile development team.
Responsible for orchestrating, facilitating, and establishing priorities, schedules, and activities in leading the modernization and sustainment of AMC Command and Control (C2) systems.
Provides high-level architectural expertise and advice to customers and technical staff.
Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration and formal testing.
Manages and documents system configurations.
Oversees the transition into production process.
Creates and maintains programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution.
Develops architectural products and agile deliverables for the enterprise.
Advises on Agile approaches/strategies with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
