The office requires an Administrative Assistant IV resource with high levels of autonomy and discretion, as well as initiative. The office is a dynamic, team oriented work environment in which many of the activities are short notices and high priority. The staff interacts across the sponsor organization including with leadership staff. As such, professionalism is critical. This job requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. The job entails scheduling, meeting support, document preparation, and serving as a liaison between senior staff, the community partners, and other federal agencies. The support staff is expected to be present during core office hours (9:00 to 3:00). Travel between buildings for meetings is expected to occur 1-2 times per week in a personal vehicle. The individual is not expect to transport passengers or other items. The Administrative Assistant IV will directly and independently support three senior managers.
