GDIT has a cool role which will support the administration of the Foreign Employee Workforce (FEW) and the International Human Resources (IHR) team at GDIT. The position will be an individual contributor to support the recruitment of the Foreign Employee Workforce (FEW) (foreign national, ordinarily resident, and/or third country nationals (TCNs)) worldwide.

The role presents unique opportunities since you will be supporting programs with staff in approximately 25 countries.

This position will work out of our Falls Church, Virginia office and will allow some telecommuting after the selected candidate has acclimated to the role.

  • Works directly with hiring managers and candidates to assist through the recruiting process from dispostioning, interview scheduling and coordination up to and including orientation
    • Assisting in the employment agreement and onboarding of selectees (managing pre-hire transactions and requirements (i.e initiating background investigations) and collection of required documentation)
  • Managing and administering tiered services vendors (local staffing agencies, payrolling, recruitment, managing required certifications, staff augmentation)
  • Managing services with and performance by vendors such as ensuring job announcements are accurately reflecting job requirements, SOW / PWS, SLAs, etc. are agreed and executed
  • Coordinating with local managers and functional teams for talent acquisition approaches – in-house, out-source
  • Coordinating and administering workforce and staffing plans with stakeholders
    • Support international / host country managers with staffing plans, specific vendor services, and job candidates
    • Prioritizing requisitions based on criticality, contract type, and act as an escalation point for recruiting deficiencies
  • Supporting project planning, host country research, and cross-functional coordination including payroll, HR, Talent Acquisition, AP, and Procurement
  • Providing market level data to include labor availability, price points, anticipated time to hire, concerns in filling required roles

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration +3 years relevant experience as a HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter, Vendor Management or Global HR, or other related functional department

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

MS Office proficiency,

Workday Recruiter proficiency

SharePoint and exposure to other records and collaboration systems

Strong organizational, time management, and communication (written and verbal) skills 

US citizenship due to systems access

Nice-to-have:

Fluency in a foreign language (Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Arabic and/or Dutch)

Overseas experience a plus 

HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, CBP) desired
