Job Description

And our work depends on TS/SCI level cleared Software Developer joining our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO. In this role you will:

  • Research, design, develop, test, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
  •  Analyze user/business software system requirements and determines needs.
  •  Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time.
  •  Maintain documentation to support software development policies, standards and procedures


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of directly related experience in software development
  • 4+ years of team lead experience on a software development team
  • Expert with at least one of the following languages and require good experience with the others (Python, React, Java)
  • Front-end development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Experience with public clouds such as AWS, Google, Rackspace
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and software/application development processes
  • Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, and other DevOps/Continuous Integration tools
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve technical problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a small team

Desired Skills

  • Experience with ElasticSearch
  • Experience interacting with AWS SDK, AWS API, AWS CLI, and AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience in technical operations at DOD agencies, particularly NCE and DIA
  • Design, implement, and maintain application phases
  • Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Participate in continuous improvement with process
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components
  • Develop application code programs
  • Develop and execute unit test plans as well as resolve test defects
  • Provide technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions
