GDIT is looking for a strategic marketing professional to join the growing GDIT marketing team. As a marketing specialist supporting GDIT’s Digital Consulting Practice, you will execute the strategic and tactical development, delivery, and measurement of campaigns for solutions in areas such as AI, 5G, Cyber, Cloud and Digital Modernization. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Digital Consulting, Solutions& Alliance Partnerships, you will collaborate with a creative marketing team, technical subject matter experts, alliance partners, and the wider organization to create best-in-class marketing programs.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the go-to-market strategy and the day-to-day marketing direction for key business campaigns. The role will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that help position the business for success.

Some of things you will be doing

  • Creating strategic and measurable integrated go-to-market plans that align to overarching growth and brand goals
  • Building close relationships with subject matter experts across GDIT’s business, growth, and operational teams
  • Building close relationships with marketing counterparts at GDIT’s alliance partners
  • Consulting with brand marketing/PR agencies and media partners
  • Collaborating with GDIT’s extensive commercial technology partner ecosystem (AWS, Microsoft, Google, and more) to identify co-marketing opportunities
  • Act as an ambassador for the marketing team, demonstrating the value of strategic marketing initiatives
  • Working effectively within a large matrixed organization

Your responsibilities

  • Campaign planning, execution, and measurement for technology capability initiatives, including cyber, cloud, 5G, and artificial intelligence, for GDIT
  • Support the drafting and ongoing updates of campaign plans
  • Work with relevant teams to create content for campaigns  
  • Track campaign metrics and KPIs (leads, website hits, social media CTRs, and engagement rates)
  • Manage media vendor and marketing agency partnerships
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to ensure that campaign plans and activities support broader marketing initiatives in GDIT’s defense, intelligence, homeland security, health, and civil markets
  • Technology partner outreach and funding coordination for campaign initiatives
  • Coordinate logistics with events and business development teams for conferences and tradeshows
  • Research vendor partnerships to help execute marketing plans

Required qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
  • 2+ years of combined marketing, corporate communications, brand management, and/or public relations agency experience
  • Experience in cross-channel marketing communications (PR, events, digital and social media)

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of US federal government IT marketplace and/or consulting is advantageous
  • Experienced in business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-government (B2G) marketing and/or technology marketing is advantageous
  • Highly effective writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication skills
