GDIT is seeking a Communications / User Adoption Manager to provide O365 SharePoint Online support for an exciting new contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS). NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract funding.
Successful candidate provides applied subject matter expertise to supporting the customer and team in communications and user adoption of M365, especially SharePoint Online. Will work closely within the team to understand the solutions and technology being leveraged and translate into announcements, briefs, diagrams, etc to further support adoption and usage.
Responsibilities include the following:
Assist in developing standards, governance principals, usage guidelines and adoption programs for Collaboration tools
Act as the SharePoint Online/Teams/OneDrive technology advocate driving adoption
Work with the customer to build a community of Champions to support the transition to M365 / SharePoint Online
Create briefs, emails, and other communication related content to support information out to customers related to their migrations
Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed of program developments
Creates strategies to increase stakeholder awareness and promote productivity
Participates in team and customer interactions to analyze, design, and document SharePoint solutions and architecture suited to specific business needs and processes
Provides input into SharePoint technologies training and best practice guidance documentation as needed
Provides responses for other team members in support of end user support requests as needed

Active DoD Secret clearance
Level II 8570 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)
6 years of experience
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, mainly Teams and SharePoint
Knowledge of change management, end-user adoption strategies/reporting, governance
Demonstrated interest in technology deployment and adoption, collaborative processes and team support, facilitation, and stakeholder/customer/user engagement strongly preferred.
Strong consulting experience, adept at developing partnerships and a deep understanding of business need.
Deep knowledge of M365 tools including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform
Strong attention to detail
Ability to explain technical procedures in business terms so that customers understand.
Demonstrable ability to think and deliver strategically while remaining proficient and engaged tactically.
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
Solid work ethic and the ability to work in a mission critical environment independently and as part of a team

The likely salary range for this position is $65,714 - $109,742, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
