GDIT is seeking to hire a Senior Budget Analyst  in support of the Health and Behavioral Sciences department at the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC).


The mission of Health and Behavioral Sciences Department at NHRC is to optimize the operational health and readiness of our Armed Forces by conducting research and development (R&D) to inform DoD policy and practice. NHRC also engages in R&D efforts to promote the health and readiness of service members and their families including physical mental and behavioral health. The department examines operationally relevant issues affecting personnel and examines career-span health and wellness issues.


The duties of the senior budget analyst will include the following:

  • Analyzing current and past budgets, forecasting future budget requirements, and preparing and justifying budget requests.
  • Providing technical support for the set-up, execution, monitoring, reporting, and analysis of appropriated funds.

Master's level degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar


5+ years of experience performing in a budget analyst role.


Have a current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Experience working in a military research environment.
