We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional fast paced team.
This position is in support of the NATO Special Operations Headquarters (NSHQ) in Mons, Belgium. This position will support the day-to-day actions of the team, overseeing various projects and serving as deputy to the Program Manager.
Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects.
Performs project management functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships.
Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.
Performs project management functional modeling based on requirements analysis.
Serves as technical advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation.
Consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.
Identifies, defines, and develops requirements for new systems or updates to existing systems to scope client needs.
Identifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems.
Writes, updates, and presents project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.
Oversees functional testing of systems, networks, and applications for delivery acceptance.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
Participates in special projects as required.
Oversees the production and update of technical diagrams and documentation of networks, systems, applications, and procedures.
Demands positive responsiveness to customer requirements, priorities and mission accomplishment.
Strong problem solving skills required.
Ability to plan, organize, manage, document, and brief projects for a military organization.
5+ years of experience required.
BA/BS degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
Must possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Strong customer service and communications skills (written and verbal) are a must.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Project
Must have solid general technical experience and familiarity with networking, hardware, Microsoft software upgrades, deployments and general security requirements.
PMP strongly desired
Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent)
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, work processes, and applicable regulations in assigned subject-matter area(s).
May require additional professional certification(s) in one or more specific technologies, depending on job assignment.
The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.
