At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Developer supporting the Healthcare Fraud Prevention Partnership Trusted Third Party, you will be trusted to work remotely on Drupal 9/10. Attend client or deliverable support and design meetings. Work with other members to establish web architectural standards and patterns. Work with a cross-functional team and provide guidance to team members to support the open-source implementation, development, integration, and maintenance of web-based solution. Lead and guide the development, configuration, migration, integration, testing and maintenance of Drupal websites.
80% of this role is Development and maintenance of the Drupal v9/10 Content Management System
Unit testing code and peer reviewing code for adherence to coding best practices
Participating in daily and recurring Agile practices like Daily stand up, retrospectives, backlog goorming and refinement.
Supporting the QA team as needed for proper testing in gathering requirements by providing solution options and highlighting dependencies with the existing implementation
Supporting the scrum team in properly defining or further gathering of requirements by providing solution options and highlighting dependencies with the existing implementation
Creating and maintaining technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions, etc.
Mentoring and providing guidance to the development team members
Participating in the full application life cycle - design, development, testing, and deployment
Assisting in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments
Collaborating with Solutions Architects, Development Manager, Development Team, Business Analysts, CMS, DevOps team, the Security team, and other Agile team members to solve complex policy and system integration.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience on Drupal 7, 8 and 9.
Experience with PHP and PHP Unit.
Experience with HTML, CSS, Jquery, JavaScript.
3-5+ Years of relevant experience with API development
Experience with Atlassian tool suite (including at least Jira and Confluence).
Basic SQL experience to structure efficient queries for metadata retrieval or application development.
Basic cloud experience, preferably AWS.
No Security clearance required.
The likely salary range for this position is $88,000 - $132,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
