GDIT is seeking a Junior Tier 1 Help Desk Technician to provide Help Desk support for the Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract. NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract award, funding and tasking.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides Microsoft O365 technical support via phone, chat and /or email to users.
Analyzes and responds to incidents and determines the level of support required.
Collaborates with users to diagnose problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
Resolves issues within the scope specified in specific SLA’s or escalates the calls to the appropriate service level queue for resolution.
Records incidents and maintains a database of all occurrences requesting technical assistance.
Coordinates with internal support staff and/or with vendors to resolve problems.
Participates in meeting with support and operations staff and provides feedback on support related issues.
Active DoD Secret clearance
DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
BA/BS in Computer Science in related field (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)
2+ years of experience
Experience in Cloud, Azure, MS Office 365 support environments
Ability to work remotely in an environment dedicated to professional Help Desk support for Customers
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $23.84 - $39.81, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
