GDIT is seeking a Junior Tier 1 Help Desk Technician to provide Help Desk support for the Defense Enterprise Office Solution (DEOS) Cloud Service Offering contract. NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract award, funding and tasking.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides Microsoft O365 technical support via phone, chat and /or email to users.

  • Analyzes and responds to incidents and determines the level of support required.

  • Collaborates with users to diagnose problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.

  • Resolves issues within the scope specified in specific SLA’s or escalates the calls to the appropriate service level queue for resolution.

  • Records incidents and maintains a database of all occurrences requesting technical assistance.

  • Coordinates with internal support staff and/or with vendors to resolve problems.

  • Participates in meeting with support and operations staff and provides feedback on support related issues. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance 

  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification

  • BA/BS in Computer Science in related field (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)

  • 2+ years of experience 

  • Experience in Cloud, Azure, MS Office 365 support environments

  • Ability to work remotely in an environment dedicated to professional Help Desk support for Customers 

  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment 

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $23.84 - $39.81, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
