Our work depends on a DevSecOps professional joining our team to support Defense Health activities at San Antonio, TX, Rosslyn, VA, and remote locations.

At GDIT, we get work done. As a DevSecOps specialist supporting Defense Health, you will be trusted to support transition of all prime products to a continuous delivery and continuous deployment model using DevSecOps principles and best practices to improvement configuration and release management capabilities. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with Defense Health to establish modern CI/CD pipeline, processes and best practices that drive greater standardization and automation and improvement of software security, development, testing, and deployment capabilities.
  • Determining critical risks to operational and program execution, formulating a comprehensive risk and mitigation plan to address risks
  • Producing knowledge transfer and transition plans to enable seamless transition from current DHMS vendors
  • Managing the software deployment process and infrastructure
  • Creating an automated delivery pipeline that assists in building software more efficiently
  • Implement various development, testing, automation tools and IT infrastructure.
  • Define developing, test, release, update and support processes for DevSecOps workflows
  • Lead DevSecOps engineering teams
  • Your success will be measured through the improvements to release velocity, software security and capabilities provided to end users

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelors Degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related domain
  • 2 Years of relevant experience working in a DevSecOps environment
  • DoD 8570 IAT Levels II, III
  • Experience with DoDAF
  • Experience working with DoD/DISA
  • Secret Security clearance level or higher
  • Preferred qualifications (optional)
