General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Senior Quality Analyst who preferably holds active DOD Secret clearance. Site location: remote
The position will support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Strategic Deterrent Force. GDIT will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution which enables and integrates the program’s complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program’s lifecycle. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable Digital Engineering Environment (DEE) delivered to the Government, to be instantiated “virtually” on the Government’s network infrastructure, and updated during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of weapon system development.
The Senior Quality Analyst will support the Quality Manager is the areas of implementation of the program’s ITIL based quality management system (QMS). This support will include establishing the program-level internal audit program that will support Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and successful program assessments. The QMS will include the Program Management Plan, Quality Assurance Performance Plan, and Procedures Manual and support ISO 9001:2015–compliant processes, procedures, work instructions, templates, and other related materials.
The Senior Quality Analyst will perform the following functions:
Serve as Deputy to the Quality Assurance Manager for all quality assurance and testing activities
Conduct pre-release review of deliverable products and services
Implements ITIL based processes and procedures
Performs issues detection and problem escalation
Support the planning, scheduling and collection of metrics, and generate delivers the monthly Quality Assurance Report (QAR)
Reviews, consolidates, and posts lessons learned retrospective reports
Promotes Continual Service Improvement (CSI) throughout the organization
Supports the review and development of following deliverables: Quality Assurance Program Plan; Software QA Plan, Program Protection Implementation Plan; Material Improvement Project Report; System Deficiency Report (SDR) Data.
Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience
Familiarity with PMBOK, ISO-9001, and CMMI processes
Previous experience performing Quality Management on DoD programs
