Our work depends on a Test Engineer joining our team to support a US Government Agency customer in Fort Lee, VA. The selected Test Engineer can work remotely, anywhere in the CONUS United States.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Test Engineer supporting this federal government customer, you will be trusted member of a software engineering team focused on improving existing defense software.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Establishes a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration.
Documents and monitors testing outcomes and establishes steps to remedy problems.
Analyzes current technologies used within the company and develops steps and processes to improve testing procedures.
Possesses a detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases and create effective and focused testing plans.
Assists other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrates them to other members of the team.
Works closely with departments within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly.
Provides detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.
Defines clear goals for all aspects of a product test and develop steps for their proper execution.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Strong experience in Office 365, Selenium and Pa11y
IAT II or above qualifying certification (most common is CompTIA Security+)
Years of experience required: 5+ years of direct related experience
Bachelors degree or higher

The likely salary range for this position is $75,599 - $126,250, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
