At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Inventory Management and Property Control Officer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to provide critical IT solutions and excellent customer service. In this role, a typical day will include:
Working with a dedicated, highly skilled team of professionals.
Perform physical inventories of IT assets.
Prepare and generate asset management reports.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Create transactions for IT assets between mission partners and accounts.
Conduct IT inventories for decommissions.
Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements.
0-3 years related experience
Excellent organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Experience performing physical inventories of IT assets.
Experience preparing and generating asset management reports.
Experience developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Experience creating transactions for IT assets between mission partners and accounts.
Experience conducting IT inventories for decommissions.
Experience collaborating with team members to identify process improvements.
Experience with Sponsor’s facilities and IT service delivery tools, including but not limited to ESMT and GENESIS.
Knowledge of IT Services Management (ITSM) best practices and ITIL framework.
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
