Job Description

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. The Navy Enterprise Service Desk (NESD) program is seeking a Junior level Remedy/Helix Developer to join their team.

This is a remote teleworking opportunity!

This position is an integral part of the NESD Helix engineering team and assists with administration, requirements analysis, and requirements documentation of the BMC Helix/Remedy software and integrated interfaces in a SAAS model:

  • Work with Senior level Helix engineers and project teams to document all known customization and data requirements for new and existing customers
  • Provide support to the Helix engineering team in terms of Foundation Data loads and Foundation Data Administration
  • Work with our cross-functional teams to document JIRA stories
  • Willingness to learn as you go as both a self-starter and with provided training courses
  • A Do-No-Harm approach to system administration
  • Work directly with the Remedy/Helix Engineering team on several tasks that include report writing, data analysis, account management, and continual service improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years of BMC Remedy experience as a user, data administrator, or beginning developer
  • Experience and AWS GovCloud or other Cloud solutions
  • Experience with BMC Remedy version 20.x or higher
  • Security+ certification; must be able to obtain within 3 months of start
  • Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • ITIL Foundation a plus
  • JIRA a plus, but not required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
