Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings associated with infrastructure installations to indicate wiring placement and requirements, equipment locations, electrical requirements/loads, etc.
Assist Project Managers in response to technical questions and recommend modifications to Statement of Works (SOWs)
Gather floor plan and collection system usage data from Field Offices
Develop requirement packages, in coordination/collaboration with customer, and concept drawing for each technology center installation, modification, or Field office move
Travel to and from Field site locations with PM to conduct site surveys and to gather requirements.
Required- 30% travel approximately for this position.
Install telecommunications infrastructure equipment, workstation furniture, equipment cabinets, cabling, etc. at jobsite location
Prepares and maintains a range of documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
Develop and propose recommendations on improving the technology center space design and services
May provide guidance to less-experienced Systems Engineers
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience in lieu of education, 12 years applicable experience. BICSI Installation Technician and AutoCAD software highly preferred.
