GDIT is currently seeking a CPVA Assessor at JBSA-Lackland, TX to support the AFCOTERS II contract, supporting the 67th Cyber Wing (67 CW), 346th Test Squadron (346 TS), and the 318th Range Squadron (318 RANS) planning and executing a full array of operational tests of various cyber weapons and systems.
CPVA Assessor Responsibilities include:
- Provides technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing client-level hardware and software in accordance with established or approved organizational process components (i.e., Master Incident Management Plan, when applicable).
- Dynamically or statically analyze software applications to gain an understanding of the system, mission and or application vulnerabilities and exploits. The contractor shall develop exploits for exposed vulnerabilities with a focus on non-interference of mission partner systems and networks.
- Perform the CVPA functions IAW DoD Cybersecurity policy.
- Provide technical coordination support to CVPA Mission Commanders (MC) during the planning, execution, and reporting phases of CVPA missions. Provide assessment plan input during the site survey by determining the functional areas required to execute a CVPA mission, developing penetration test scenarios based on mission scope and objectives, and identifying the technical activities needed to accomplish mission objectives.
- Provide system administration, documentation, and security services to administer, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot networks used by the 318RANS. This also includes the operation of isolated networks, networks connected to DoD networks and networks (Concept Local Area Network (CLAN)) connected to commercial ISPs.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Associates Degree
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Certification: Current IAT Level III Certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
● Security Clearance Level: Current TS/SCI Eligible
● Location: Customer Site, JBSA-Lackland
● US Citizenship Required
