Coordinate and run the monthly Knowledge Management Working Groups with staff and units throughout the organization.
Has experience with C2 systems management and operations with the ability to manage both C2 Systems and SharePoint Sites within the customer’s inventory and ensure they are in-line with organization SOPs and industry standards.
Perform Knowledge Management Training throughout the year to enable a better understanding of Knowledge Management throughout the organization. This includes curriculum development that will be used for the training.
Perform knowledge gap analyses and create techniques to bridge gaps, recommend creating an organizational knowledge network and provide metrics for evaluating its effectiveness, and create and execute a unit KM plan.
Advises on integrating KM practices and procedures throughout the organization.
Monitor emerging KM trends for incorporation into unit operations.
Facilitate achieving greater knowledge creation and transfer across the organization.
Develop KM policies and procedures and ensure command-wide dissemination and compliance.
Develop effective techniques and procedures for organizing, applying, and transferring observations, insights, and lessons from after-action reviews into unit operations, standing operating procedures, and training.
Oversee the unit’s content management efforts.
Coordinate with the G6 to ensure that the unit’s technical network supports knowledge creation, organization, application, and transfer across the unit.
Attend, participate in, and furnish input to scheduled and unscheduled meetings, conferences, and briefings to provide effective communication and impart necessary information.
Attend all required meetings to discuss all matters associated with KM Requirements.
Ideally has an understanding of Air and Mission Defense operations.
Must possess a current, valid IAT II certification and a SharePoint Certification. Experience with Command and Control systems is required. Knowledge of Air and Missile Defense operations is desired. Must be able to pass German TESA.
Bachelors Degree plus 8+ years of experience providing SharePoint systems administration and knowledge management support.
