GDIT has an immediate opportunity as an Oracle Projects Business Analyst. As an Oracle Projects Business Analyst supporting the internal financial systems, you will be trusted to work with the Finance and Business community to help maintain and improve the Oracle Financial system.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Oracle eBusiness Suite Release 12 (12.1.3) environment including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Time and Labor and Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, PO). Experience with Release 12, Oracle Projects (Costing and Billing) and SQL required. Desired skills include functional knowledge of Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, PO), eBusiness Suite Business Processes and Oracle Application schemas. Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud preferred and knowledge of Oracle Project Contracts, Shipping, Government Contracting a plus.
This Business Analyst (BA) IT position will be the "liaison" between IT and the business units and will be responsible for providing support and enhancements for Oracle Financials including Project Costing and Billing and Project Contracts. The BA works with the business unit customers to identify and define in detail the customer requirements for information systems solutions and then works with the IT Software Engineer to translate customer requirements into detailed technical requirements that are used in the software solution development process. The BA also is involved in creating requirements-based software test plans and in performing testing of software. Often the BA is involved in identifying, analyzing and streamlining the customer business processes associated with software solutions. The BA also provides ongoing post implementation support of the use of the software applications. This position combines understanding of customer requirements and business functions, breadth and depth of technical expertise, and multi-discipline knowledge to recommend innovative ways of implementing technology to support business processes. Work may be done remotely. Occasional travel may be required.

The likely salary range for this position is $112,000 - $168,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
