Lead a team of technical resources (directly/indirectly) to deliver managed services solutions for infrastructure technologies.
Responsible for ongoing service delivery (attainment of SLAs, customer satisfaction, and processes and quality standards to support operations.
Point of escalation for team. Responsible for managing and developing direct reports including the creation of training plans, coaching for improvement and addressing performance concerns. Responsible for hiring and scheduling personnel.
Responsible for driving efficiencies through improving processes and implementations to reduce cost of delivery and improve customer experience
Provide input to clients to identify, develop, and release new solution offerings. Understands skills, certifications, tools, and support needed by managed services team to release the offering.
Assist in managing vendor relationships and coordinate activities related to selecting vendor partners. Understand vendor programs for managed service providers and implications on managed services team.
Experience leading IT Project teams (10 years)
Operational Infrastructure Management (10 years)
Technical understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, storage area networks, backup and data production, disaster recovery, database services, local & wide area networks, servers, mainframe, IT security, IT asset management, IT service management, and data center operations. (10 years)
IT operational planning and process design (7 years)
Configuration management and change control (5 years)
Business case development (5 years)
Personnel Management (7 years)
Technical and Strategic Planning (5 years)
Knowledge of cloud technologies and migration strategies (3 years)
Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field, or equal experience in lieu of education
