GDIT is currently looking for a Sr. Software Engineer. The Senior Software Engineer shall be responsible for leading and directing a team of software engineers providing operations and maintenance support to IC2&I currently deployed suite of DLS/LMS/KMS software. The Senior Software Engineer shall also be responsible for providing direction to the teams responsible for researching, testing, building and integrating new products or major enhancements based on requirements generated from NAWCAD WOLF IC2&I or their client agencies.
This is a Telecommuting Position
It is required that the Senior Software Engineer has the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree within a field similar to the scope of this requirement, i.e. computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering
At least five years’ experience developing software on Agile Development projects consisting of at least two teams of five to 10 members each.
At least five years’ experience leading software development efforts of similar size to those identified in the requirements of the SOW.
Agile Certified Practitioner or similar.
It is desirable that the Senior Software Engineer has the following qualifications:
Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) from (ISC)2.
Experience developing applications for deployment to commercial cloud hosting environments.
