Throughout GDIT’s 10-week summer internship program, you will work with TSS Platforms Engineering office to support and learn from the many active projects and initiatives depending on your background and interest. As an intern, you will have real responsibilities and work alongside experienced and innovative industry professionals. Your internship experience will equip you with best in class skills to take back to the classroom.


General Dynamics Information Technology desires to hire a Cloud Developer Associate (Intern) to support TSS Platforms in Bossier City, LA. As a Cloud Developer Associate, you will support the creation, deployment and management of Move2Cloud. This initiative quickly analysis existing on-premises or virtualized customer environments and reduces the time needed to migrate systems to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to hone and develop your cloud migration and problem-solving skillsets.


Assists with the development of best practices and procedures for a Move2Cloud initiative.

Assists with the support of current and future customers migrating to the cloud.

Assists in the completion of engineering tasks.

Assists with the development of solutions to cloud engineering problems of limited scope.

Assist with cloud systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.

Assists with the oversight of cloud infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

Assists with performing cloud systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.

Assists with the documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.

Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.


Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with at least one semester of school remaining
