Job Description

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. The Navy’s C4S team is seeking an Associate Windows Systems Administrator (POR) to support their efforts in Chesapeake, VA.

This position provides technical support services for the various C4S capabilities onboard Military Sealift Command (MSC) ships. Responsible for direct technical work on projects and installations onboard Program of Record (POR) ships:

  • Works independently and installs, operates, maintains, configures, troubleshoots, and repairs IT systems devices, cables, components, software, and end-user devices, components, software and connectivity.
  • Assists in the development of project plans.
  • Coordinates with the contractor's C4S lead, and Government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
  • Travels locally and CONUS/OCONUS to perform break/fix and upgrades.


Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma; advanced IT courseware preferred
  • 1+ years of experience administering Windows systems, hardware and software networks as described above in a POR environment
  • 8570 IAT Level I certification (A+CE and associated OS training)
  • Interim Secret Clearance
