Our work depends on a Configuration Analyst joining our team to support our government client’s  activities in the Northern Virginia locations.

The Change and Configuration Analyst actively engages with the change management process across stakeholder’s multiple service providers to ensure that IT staff and ITSM tool sets are equipped for efficient and effective execution of the Change and Configuration Management processes.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings. Actively participate in Change Control Meetings and provide change management insight and expertise to influence decisions
  • Contribute to organizational efficiencies by monitoring, measuring and improving the change management process
  • Conduct, review and oversee the submitted change requests through the change management process, project readiness assessment
  • Integrate the change management and configuration management tracking / ticketing systems, ensuring all changes to the operational environment can be traced through the documentation and approval process
  • Create reporting tools to accurately report change metrics. Create and maintain a Change Control dashboard
  • Oversees and manages repository for program artifacts
  • Organizes, writes, edits and produces technical documentation per project standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
  • Coordinates the quality-control activities required to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of each publication, including in-process and final reviews, editing for compliance with all applicable specifications and standards, validation, and change verification that quality publications are produced
  • Ensures documentation complies with all applicable specifications, standards, and other project constraints
  • Supports quality assurance efforts to ensure visual fidelity of all graphical materials
  • Participate in special projects as required

BA/BS degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience

10+ years of related experience.


Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with CI poly required
  • Experience with Change Management tools and workflows
  • Ability to facilitate meeting of with Program and Government personnel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Product Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • ITIL v3 Foundations or ITIL 2011
  • ITIL Change Management certification
