At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Risk Manager supports and manages the responsibilities of the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects. As a Risk Manager, you will assist in the development of a standardized, enterprise-level Risk Management Process. The Risk Manager will assess, analyze, propose mitigation and manage the creation, tracking and closure of risks, issues and opportunities (R/I/Os) related to the successful completion and/or delivery of a US Government product or service.
Provides technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions
Facilitate risk management efforts (i.e., risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning) for all product IPTs
Facilitate and/or brief multiple meetings or forums weekly and or monthly
Communicate risk posture and project information to stakeholders
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner.
Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas Ability to multitask and change focus quickly if necessary
Participate in special projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training
8+ years of directly related experience in Risk Management
Ability to interact comfortably with Senior Government Leadership and Team members on a day-to-day basis.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential.
TS/SCI with Polygraph required
